Summer Body Challenge Official Rules, Responsibilities & Legal Disclaimers
1. Eligibility
Membership Requirement: Must be an active member of Powerhouse Gym LIC.
Age Requirement: Participants must be 18 years or older.
Fee: A non-refundable entrance fee of $387 is required.
Residency: Must be a U.S. resident.
Exclusions: Employees, trainers, and immediate family of Powerhouse Gym LIC may participate but are ineligible to win prizes.
2. Program Requirements
To remain eligible for prizes, participants must meet all of the following requirements:
a. Initial Onboarding
Complete a fitness consultation and InBody scan with an assigned trainer.
Submit before photos taken at Powerhouse Gym LIC at the time of signup.
b. Weekly Participation
Attend all scheduled personal training sessions and group fitness classes.
Make weekly posts on social media that include:
Progress updates
Meal documentation
Transformation photos
Use of required hashtags: #PowerhouseGymLIC and #WinYourDayNow
c. Completion Requirements
Complete a final InBody scan.
Submit after photos taken at Powerhouse Gym LIC.
Remain in good standing with Powerhouse Gym LIC throughout the challenge.
3. Judging Criteria & Prizes
a. Judging Panel
Judged by: Gym Owner, Fitness Coaches, and the Powerhouse Social Media Community.
Judging is based on the following weighted criteria:
Body Fat % Reduction
Lean Muscle Mass % Increase
Total Weight Loss
Visible Physical Transformation
Consistency in Posting and Participation
Engagement with the Powerhouse community
b. Prizes
1st Place – Grand Prize:
$1,000 cash
2nd Place:
1 Month Performance Club Subscription
$250 Gift Card
3rd Place:
1 Month Recovery Subscription
$150 Gift Card
Completion Awards:
All participants receive a Summer Body Challenge Competitor T-shirt.
Participants who complete all requirements receive a Summer Body Champion T-shirt and additional gifts (details provided at final assessment).
4. FTC Compliance & Disclosures
No Guaranteed Results: Results vary by individual. No claims are made that results are typical without corresponding disclosures.
Material Connections: Any compensation (including free services, discounts, or prizes) must be clearly disclosed by participants on social media.
Public Viewing: Social media engagement is viewable by the public and not gated by any purchase requirement.
5. Complaint Handling & Dispute Resolution
Contact for Issues: Questions and concerns can be submitted via email or at the front desk.
Response Time: All inquiries will receive a response within 10 business days.
Dispute Process: If disputes arise regarding judging or prize distribution, the Gym Owner's decision is final. Mediation may be offered for unresolved matters.
6. Legal Disclaimers
Assumption of Risk: Participation is voluntary and at the participant's own risk.
Medical Readiness: Participants should consult a physician before beginning.
Media Consent: Entry into the challenge includes consent for the use of names, images, and transformation results in marketing and promotions.
Tax Responsibility: Winners are responsible for all applicable federal, state, and local taxes related to their prizes.
7. Data Protection
Personal information is collected only for challenge administration and will not be sold or distributed to third parties. Refer to Powerhouse Gym LIC’s Privacy Policy for full details.
8. Program Adjustments
Powerhouse Gym LIC reserves the right to amend, extend, or cancel the challenge due to unforeseen events or low participation. Notice will be given where feasible.
